Pressed Cafe interview questions

Sat down with someone named Charlie, decent interview, talked through my past experience. Pressed Cafe would actually be one of the smallest operations I’ve ever run and would be a step down from what I currently do. I just figured after a year or two I’d probably be running multiple locations. When I got the rejection, they said they were concerned I’m not ready to run a large operation like Pressed Cafe… which didn’t make much sense to me. It honestly felt like the decision was made for reasons that weren’t clearly explained.

I was contacted and set up an interview. I arrived and was told to wait while he interviewed someone else one table away. We had a great interview, we discussed comp and start dates and next steps and my final interview. That interview went really well too and we also discussed comp and start dates. Then they ghosted me. 100%. I reached out via email and phone. No response. No nothing. Glad I dodged that bullet.
