I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Preferred Business Systems in Aug 2020
Interview
Phone interview, in person interview, field day with manager, and then offer. It was a well defined process and gave me clear expectations of the role. They are looking for go getters and those that aren't afraid to hear the word no. If you have a hard time approaching people or get your feelings hurt easily then sales or this role is probably not for you. They do aim to give you all the tools you need for a job well done.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Preferred Business Systems (Tulsa, OK) in Jan 2013
Interview
Met with the owner and the sales manager at different times. They were very upfront about what to expect. I like that it was a fast process unlike so many of the jobs where there's tons of interviews with everyone asking the same thing over and over. They explained in detail the duties I would be expected to carry out. Cold calling is a big part of the job at first and they explain that as well. Once I had the job, I cold called a bunch and then had help from the sales manager or owners to help close the business. This was a great way to learn the job. Got a lot easier after the first year and I began to make good money.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Preferred Business Systems (Tulsa, OK) in Jan 2015
Interview
You meet with one of the owners. Sometimes you will meet with a Sales Manager. They will try and sell you. This is not a hard position to get. Keep in mind that its a draw.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very easy interview. Their main concern is that you will cold canvass. They are looking for people to find leads which will be turned over to "closers". They will review your resume briefly. Ask you how you did on your last position. They prefer copier sales experience, because their is no training program. But all they are looking for is cold callers. If you convey that you like cold calling they will hire you.
