      Client Development Manager Interview

      8 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PrecisionLender in Nov 2018

      Interview

The interview and application process was very intensive and a great exercise even though I was not offered the job. Applying on the website required answering 3 questions that were thought provoking and I believe key to getting the first interview. Once I had the initial screening interview and passed to the next step, I was told a panel interview would be next. A different HR manager informed me that I had to respond to a written assignment first which, again, was thought provoking and very interesting. In the notification of assignment, I was informed that a panel interview would occur next and if I passed that step, an in person interview and onsite visit would be next (that was not the case). After submitting the responses to my written assignment, I was then scheduled for a phone panel interview with two current employees that had the role for which I was applying. They reviewed each item in my resume and asked a variety of questions. It was great dialogue and interactive. The HR manager followed up with me after this interview for the next steps, which I thought would be an onsite visit. It was not. I was asked to have a brief interview with the new manager of the segment (Regional Banks). This 30 minute interview was more on sales style and process. The interviewer was a prior user of the solution so I would recommend one be very informed on the product to set the stage for a good interview. Lastly, I was sent a form letter informing that they were going to continue the search. That was the most disappointing part of the process. All the way through application and interview they were very engaging except for the "no" letter. I followed up with a request for feedback but they were not inclined to give any. Great experience over all except for the being told that one step would occur when it did not. Probably just company growing pains.
