Fairly standard and unimaginative, unless there was something in employment history interviewer felt could "run with". Sure, one can construe they're "just doing their job", but, step it back and listen. Extremely aggressive and patronizing in comments. Was relieved, and not surprised, when received the rejection email - could not wait end the phone call quickly enough = relief would not have to deal with or feel in any way indebted to them.
