I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Power Factors (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process is straightforward yet demanding. It begins with an HR screening, followed by a practical coding challenge to build a smart, functional UI using a tricky API. If you pass, you move to a technical interview with the hiring manager and a senior developer. This stage feels comfortable and collaborative, focusing on day-to-day pull requests rather than trick questions. Finally, you visit the office to meet the team in person.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Power Factors in Feb 2022
Interview
Three stages in total.
1. Simple HR screen
2. Take home assignment
3. Review take home assignment with 1-2 engineers
The take home assignment was fairly easy, the interviewers didn't have experience with the coding language.
I went through several rounds of interviews with the company.
I had technical interviews with the team. The atmosphere was friendly and conversational, and the team made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The technical questions were mostly straightforward coding problems that tested basic problem-solving and programming skills, nothing too tricky or unexpected.
I had another interview with the recruiting manager.Everyone I spoke to was respectful, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding my fit for the role.
Finally, I had a short follow-up meeting with HR.
