I applied online. I interviewed at Ports America (Tacoma, WA) in Jul 2017
Interview
The initial interview process was professional. I traveled for the interview and was given full reimbursement promptly. The HR department was very helpful with my questions and organizing travel plans. The actual interview was interesting. They called it a "working interview" but it was a normal interview followed by walk-around the terminal. The interview went well but their follow-up was very unprofessional. They were very vague about the hiring process and poor at communication. Their lack of transparency in the process led me to search elsewhere.
Straightforward, via Zoom. Talked to a woman in New Jersey who gave me history and background on company and a description of benefits. Second interview was with a person on site.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ports America
Interview
Started with a phone interview and then lead to a panel interview on site with managers from different sites and departments. Was called back later on to have a final interview the president and CEO at the time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ports America (New York, NY) in Jul 2020
Interview
Interview process consisted of a phone screening with the talent manager followed up by a video interview and then a shadowing opportunity at the Port terminal. I was sent an offer pretty quickly, but declined mostly due to low pay/long hours required.
