I applied for the job in early-mid March and I heard back two days later. I was asked to schedule a screening with the recruiter for the following week. It was a screening call that took around 30-minutes. I was asked typical screening questions, like my interest in the role and organization, my goals, the types of communications materials I have worked on, and the tools I have used. I was told that after the screening, the interview process would look like an in-person interview, then a virtual interview, and then a final in-person writing assignment. I was also told that they would not compensate for travels for the in-person interviews. Around a week and a half later (end of March), I found out that I was not going to be moving forward with the position. I was not too disappointed as I felt like my interest did not align well with what they wanted, which was fine.
