My experience with Poppulo raised serious concerns about their hiring process and candidate handling. Over nearly two months, I interviewed for two roles, successfully cleared all rounds, and was asked to submit official documents typically associated with final offer preparation. Despite this, the process ended without an offer and without meaningful transparency around the decision.
Requesting documentation at such a late stage creates a reasonable expectation of closure and professionalism. Reversing course after this point reflects poorly on process planning and candidate respect. I hope the company reassesses how it manages late-stage hiring decisions and candidate communication.
This showed a complete disregard for candidate time, effort, and basic professional courtesy. If documentation is being requested, decisions should already be clear. Candidates are not backup options or placeholders.
