The interview process was pretty standard, but very positive. Initial phone screen with the manager of the group, who was extremely professional and yet personable, where we discussed my background, what the company did and what DevOps was tasked with, the technologies they used, etc. After the phone screen, I was invited for an onsite interview, and after a tour of the office and explanation of functional areas, I briefly interviewed with the manager again, two of the team members, a veteran developer from another group, and the VP of engineering. I also had a brief sort of culture/fit interview lunch with a systems engineer who had been with the company for a while. Most of the discussion centered around my experience, with some technical digging, behavioral questions, and expectations setting about the responsibility and cadence of the org.
