      Senior HR Manager Interview

      27 Feb 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Plymouth Tube

      Interview

I receive the an email from a company recruiter explaining that the hiring manager was busy, but had some questions that I would need to answer via email, which would be followed by a phone interview. The questions are below. I spent a fair amount of time answering the questionnaire, returned it and heard nothing back. I followed up with an email a week later. Crickets... Eventually I did receive a generic rejection email from the company's Applicant Tracking System. I understand that recruiters are busy and don't have time to engage with every applicant. However, after interacting directly with a recruiter and spending time answering detailed questions (see below), having a recruiter ghost me did not improve my opinion of the organization as a whole.

      Question 1

Thank you for your interest in the Sr. HRM role we have at Plymouth Tube Company. I am the Sr. Talent Specialist for our business and our HR VP is tied up this week with Union Negotiations, so I would like to gather a bit more information about your experience then potentially schedule some time for myself or the VP to discuss our company and the role. This pre- questionnaire is quick and gives us the ability to focus any phone discussion a bit more about our company and the role. Please see questions below and send me back your responses and any additional information you feel would be of value to show your experience.
