I applied online. I interviewed at Playground Games (Innsbruck) in Apr 2025
Interview
It was the lead character artist introducing himself. Than I had to introduce myself and my projects. Going through my workflow and talking about how I approached things and what was really difficult. Also what I am unhappy with and would do better now
I interviewed at Playground Games (Guildford, England)
Interview
Had an initial screening call, then a combined call with members of the team for standard interview questions and then a tech test. There was one further stage which involved attending site in person but I didn't continue with the process.

Tell me about your previous games development experience
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Playground Games (Royal Leamington Spa, England) in Apr 2025
Interview
The companies first response was by email to allocate a time for an informal call via video chat. There, I was given the general rundown of the next interview stages. These were a chat with the lead engineer, a supervised coding test and a final interview. I was told that the final interview is rather a "get to know another" form of interview and that one has the role if one gets to that stage. After the initial stage, the interviewer has to sign an NDA.
