I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Platinum Fundraising (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Feb 2019
Interview
Had a pre-interview screening with member of the recruitment team. She said she would like to invite me to the next round of hiring and sent me an assessment to take with a deadline to have it completed by. The assessment was your basic personality survey where you agree or disagree with the statements and then there was a logic portion mainly used to test your math and problem solving skills. There was finally a typing test. Everything went well until my typing portion where the test just stopped inputting what I was typing for a good 12-15 seconds and by the time it caught up to itself I only had a few seconds left to recover in the 1 minute assessment. I still felt pretty good about how I did on the other two portions and sent an email to the recruiter that I had spoken with, as they were my only contact so far, in regards to the typing portion and explained that should they need me to take it again at the location that I would be more than happy to (it stated in the original email that they usually make you do it again on anyway just to verify the results). No response. I then called a few days later to get an update. Was told that they are still reviewing people. Waited a few more days and reached out again to their team just to get an idea of where they were at with the applications as she had mentioned about going into the office to see what their daily routine is like during our first phone conversation. Nothing. It was like the whole organization went “ghost”. I had other job interviews to attend so after enough waiting I decided it was their loss because I had since then received offers from four other companies. Today, weeks after our first conversation and not getting any feedback or update from them I received an email saying that it was a pleasure getting to speak with me and they are so glad I shared my experience with them. What experience? The experience of wasting my time?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you like a super duper happy positive person all the time? (this is being asked to you as you can hear the interviewer dying a little bit inside)
From interviewing first with a recruiter, then coming into the office to get a tour, perform a typing test, shadow an actual representative, then interview with the HR manager, it was a very different kind of interview, but one I geled with.
I applied online. I interviewed at Platinum Fundraising (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Jan 2020
Interview
The first step was a phone Interview. Assessments. In-person interview with job shadowing. I received an offer within a week. It was all fast and I thought the process was informative and fair.
