I applied online. I interviewed at Planned Parenthood (Omaha, NE)
Interview
Very simple first phone interview. Make sure to know about the position and questions about diversity and inclusion. Expect the process to take a few weeks at least, but they are very open and up front about timeline.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Planned Parenthood (New York, NY) in Feb 2019
Interview
Overall the interview process felt quite relaxed and straightforward. There were three total interviews I went through: phone call with HR, interview with VP and director of development, interview with CEO and VP of development. There was also a writing sample between stages two and three.
The process took about two weeks in total with there being a week between the last interview and when they got back to me with a final decision.
The interviews felt more like conversations and were geared towards why I was applying, why planned parenthood, etc. I was ultimately not given an offer as they didn't feel I was quite the right fit for a grant writer. I would apply again to their organization.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Planned Parenthood (New York, NY) in Jun 2012
Interview
It was pretty basic and simple. Two rounds of interviews and a writing sample/test. The writing sample was completed in house and took me about 45 minutes. It was then shared with other candidates in a sort of blind reading.
