Interviewed for Product Manager
The Interview was very Crappy at Pizza Hut Digital and Technology, The whole process took more than 1 month, With no proper structure in the interview process. The recruiters have zero idea of the agenda for the interview all they do is schedule without any proper context or structure around it.
1st round - Screening HR round (Expierence, Background, why Pizza hut, reasons for leaving current Job)
2nd round - Line Manager round (Same experience, why Pizza hut , ways of working)
3rd round - Head of Line Manager round ( Same experience, why Pizza Hut, Same questions with no in-depth understanding of candidates caliber, No Work Sample presentation or anything that identifies Candidates strengths or weakness)
4th Round - Teammates ( Same questions, why Pizza Hut, ways of working, Things worked in the past, No workplace presentation that identifies strengths or weakness)
Overall, the process followed is more focused on whether everyone is comfortable working with the person than on whether the person is an asset to the organization. I could sense that not having a hiring structure or having no work sample presentation means employees are concerned about hiring candidates based not on merit but more focused on protecting their comfortable jobs by not hiring the right candidates.
PS: Please get ready to get into the Marathon of interviews without knowing or expecting what the agenda of each interview is, Also the process takes more than a month without any knowing when It shall end.
