I applied for a Product Manager opening and was sent a follow-up questionnaire for a Director or Product position, which I completed despite the discrepancy since product titles and responsibilities often overlap. A recruiter at Pixalate scheduled a Google Hangouts interview within a few days, and I mentioned the questionnaire discrepancy to her. She replied that she would send the correct form but never did, even after I followed up via email before the interview. During the interview, she insisted that she had sent the form, but I confirmed again that I had not received any other emails from or about any roles at Pixalate from any email address. I asked which role I was being interviewed for, and she wouldn't give a direct answer! She even brought up a random Javascript role that I definitely did not apply to. Ultimately I asked to simply be considered for any roles she thought would be appropriate. If Pixalate can't even keep track of which roles their candidates have applied to, I worry about the state of their other internal processes. Needless to say, I did not hear back after the initial interview. This review is completely accurate and truthful but was previously removed by this untrustworthy company. Let's see if they have decided to be honest.

Interview
Horrible. Lasted 10 minutes. The interviewers didnt seem like they prepared a list of questions beforehand. They had cameras off which was weird for a google hangouts interview. They kept interrupting.
