Recruiter reached out to me after a little over a month from when I had applied. We scheduled a 30 minute standard phone interview. She was very nice, personable, asked standard questions and then gave the opportunity for me to ask questions at the end. We chatted about the company for a few minutes. A few days later, I received a small editing task with not much explanation on what they were looking for. It was a bit difficult because I did not know exactly what they were looking for/the formatting of the project was incredible messed up. I also had to pay for an Adobe subscription in order to do the task. But it was an interesting project and I turned it in feeling pretty good about it, only to get an email about 4 days later that they were pursuing other candidates. Was a really big bummer--it seemed like a great position. Overall, the experience was great. They were very nice and I really appreciated the follow through. Seems like a great company, too.
