1. Recruiter call 2. Screening 3. Virtual Onsite 4. Executive Interview ---- Didn't make it past the screening. Interviewed by a Backend Engineer and another BE shadowing. I was asked to design and write code for a RateLimiter. The screening process wasn't suited for a frontend role and the interview question was... questionable. In fact, the interviewer (BE) stated they were tasked with the same question during their interview. To add to this, the follow-up questions were about distributed systems and load balancing. I feel the interviewers did not do their part to update the screening in a way that best represents what the role/responsibilities require. Moreover, I was unable to ask questions or get a better idea of the FE team/architecture as both were on the BE and did not know.
