The interview process was lengthy and included an intro call, a take-home assignment, a virtual interview with the hiring manager, a Kolbe A assessment, and an interview with the CFO. While I understand that companies want to be thorough, the process felt like it required a significant amount of candidate time and effort early on. My main frustration was that the process was made to feel very urgent from the company’s side, but the overall timeline and steps were not clearly communicated upfront. Being asked to complete an assessment before continuing to the next interview was another step that would have been helpful to know about earlier. Additionally, a salary minimum was only mentioned and not the full range, even when I asked what the range was.

Question 1
How do you manage competing priorities or stay organized when supporting multiple people or projects?
Ridiculous interview process that consisted of speaking to a recruiter who talked badly about the company and then made me rush to do unnecessary take-home work as quickly as possible. It was implied that interviews would be taking place the same week, so the unnecessary take-home work had a sense of urgency. Meanwhile, it's been months and the position is still up.
