About a week after I submitted my application, I had my phone screening call. The recruiter was very impressed with my background and set up a call with the hiring manager the following Monday.
The call with the hiring manager was rushed and stressful, but I felt I was able to communicate my background. The hiring manager was looking for someone with the experience I had.
A month later, I finally had the third and final interview with a few team members. They asked a variety of standard interview questions, It was conversational and productive. They, too, were very happy with my experience.
3 months, start to finish, with lots of promised and encouragement.
...They gave the role to an internal candidate because they already knew the Philip's products and was an IT specialist. This is not an IT role, it is a project systems role, in which I spent the last 6 years working in similar roles.
