1 - Interview with HR 2 - Technical Interview 3 - Cultural Interview Everyone was very nice and friendly during the whole process. In the end, I got a fantastic offer but I refused for the following reasons: 1 - I had to go through a drug check. I don't agree with this. In Portugal, it is not a crime to smoke a joint so I don't think that my employer should be involved in my personal life. As long as I don't do it during my job and it does not impact my delivery, my employer has nothing to do with it. On top of that, we're talking about a company that makes money selling tobacco products. I can't smoke weed but I can smoke all the tobacco I want? 2 - It is a tobacco company. It does not really align with my values. 3 - Almost everyone during the meetings told me that one of the greatest challenges in the company was communication with the higher management and the difficulty to change things. Just would like to highlight again that every person involved in the process was nice, transparent and respectful.
