I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Phase2 Technology in Mar 2023
Interview
The recruiter who set up the call made it sound like it would be a standard introductory call, but instead things moved straight into a screen share with the interviewer asking me questions about multi-threading. Given I thought this interview was more of an intro call (I tell them about me, they tell me about them, etc.) I wasn't in the right headspace, plus I don't do much with actual multi-threading, but I pushed through with it as best I could. Received a rejection email from the recruiter two days later. The total time from a recruiter reaching out to me about the job and actually being scheduled was several weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Presented with some code and asked how it initially worked, then was asked to basically improve how it worked. The question involved multi-threading, how the code worked and how to make it so things executed in the desired order. It looked like they had several possible coding problems they could ask you, though. Nothing screamed LeetCode to me.
