I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pflugerville ISD (Pflugerville, TX) in Aug 2020
Interview
I interviewed for the 2020-21 school year. I applied online and was contacted by the school within a week or so. I didn't live in the area so we had the interview on Zoom. I was a bit intimidated to realize there were a LOT of people in the interview, which I wasn't told about in advance. I was incredibly nervous, but everyone was SO nice and friendly. I knew I was a nervous mess for my first teaching position and didn't have great answers, but they made me feel reassured and listened with patience. Overall it was a good experience and an interview that landed my first teaching position.

Question 1
I can't remember much now, but I do know that I was asked about my teaching style, my experience, and why I was interested in teaching this grade level.
One interview and no performance task. I was a seasoned teacher when I applied. The interview lasted under a hour. I spoke with several members of the admin team during the process.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Pflugerville ISD (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied via online application. After a couple weeks, I received a call from the principal of one of the schools I applied to. During that phone call, we set up an interview. I interviewed, and on that same day was recommended for the position.
After you are recommended for the position, documents are sent to HR, etc., and then you can be officially hired.
