      Interview

Only did recruiter screen and 1-hour skills assessment. The recruiter was very nice and bubbly. However, there were red flags that screamed too startup-y in a negative way. You're expected to work on your own personal computer because "shipping new laptops is too expensive." Recruiter said candidates can negotiate extra WFH stipend to buy a new one, but considering employees might have access to sensitive patient/therapist data, you would think had better security protocols. Their skills assessment is not bad but outdated. They had basic metrics questions but some true/false questions told me that they haven't evolved to marketing best practices. Two questions required video recording for the weirdest questions. While I never got to the HM portion, the recruiter mentioned there would have been a "trial week" portion where you work off-hours doing standard job responsibilities. It would have been compensated at an okay rate, though just seems like a way to get cheap labor on a project basis. Not as bad as unpaid take-home assignments, but this tells me they don't know how to truly gage a top candidate.
