I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Petroglyph Games (Reykjavík) in Jan 2012
Interview
It was done via skype. I was left with a impression of the job that was very different than what it was. In some ways I feel I was hired full time as a mat-leave cover. I had expected a job where I would be building game play systems. What they really needed was a guru level expertise in windows architecture. This lead to 6 months of pure hell, and the worst work experience of my life. The people were great, and the office was adequate. The Game that was under development was on life support before it left the door.

Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Petroglyph Games in Dec 2011
Interview
I did interview over skype, HUGE Mistake!!! The job as described was nothing like what it actually was. I was hired to be a game play systems programmer, but the actual position was very little to do with game play, and very much system programming. The interview was very straight forward. The shop is a a dream if people like to stick to the text book architecture plans. there is very little room for deviating even when it would benefit the maintainability of the code.
