I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PetFlow (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
There was an initial phone screen and then a technical call. Pretty standard and straight forward, everyone seemed nice and polite. There was a take home assignment for a simple front end app. Pretty simple. They give you 10 days to complete it. After I turned in the assignment there was no response, not even a courtesy rejection even after asking for a follow up/feedback.

Interview
1 phone interview and 1 in person interview. Questions were to the point and focused around customer experience. The process was simple and atmosphere was comfortable for a call center.

Question 1
When is a time that you went above and beyond for a customer in the past?
I applied online. I interviewed at PetFlow (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview process starts off with a 30 minute technical screening with an engineer and then they send you a technical assignment to complete. There were a list of tasks and a couple bonus tasks including styling the UI. I completed all the tasks and bonuses, but received a reject shortly after submission which took into account "style, completion of tasks, visual presentation and structure". It's a vague set of criteria but my interviewer offered to give specific feedback. Unfortunately, I never received any response after I asked for feedback. It's impossible to gauge how I did since it was a fairly simple yet open-ended assignment. The whole process from the phone screening to the no response on the assignment feedback felt pretty cold. If I had to change my approach, I would use the interviewer as a resource throughout the technical challenge and ask questions about what they want in your assignment submission.
