The President of the company reached out to me the day after I applied to their posting to set up a call. He mentioned how impressed he was with my background so I took his word and made changes to my schedule to free up my availability. We settled on a day and time, he then ghosted me. I didn’t receive a reply back from my follow up email and ended up wasting my morning on the scheduled day waiting for a call that never transpired. Do better, it is not considerate to leave candidates hanging, nor is it professional or reputable to ghost out of a communication.
