The whole process took about 1 month. I applied online and was contacted 2 days later to schedule a phone interview. Interview went well with basic behavioral and general questions along with company information and the talent acquisition specialist was very courteous and easy to talk with. I inquired about they day to day responsibilities and the talent acquisition got me a list of them within the hour, very professional and efficient.
The in-person interview was very comfortable and went over my experience in the field and different examples of how I work. 2 days after the interview, I was called and asked to take an assessment. 1 week after taking the assessment (9 days after the interview), I inquired when I would hear back. I was contacted the next business day and was told I would hear an answer by a certain date, ensuring me I was still one of 2 top candidates. 2 days after I was told I would hear back, I contacted again to see if there was an update since this had been 2 weeks after the assessment and 16 days since the interview, but instead of explaining the delay or giving any response, I was given a generic rejection email. Not very professional to not contact after promised. I turned down other offers during this time and would have liked to know beforehand.
Here is a timeline of my process:
