Perficent reached out to me. I passed the phone screen and interviewed with the managing director and his boss. I later met the managing director and a few team members for dinner. I ended up with an offer, but for a role a level lower than I applied to. The recruiter told me they so not hire directors from outside the organization. I declined the position, and the director level position has been reposted to the public.
