Don’t waste your time by interviewing at Perficient if you are looking for ETL/BI profile.
90% of people at Perficient doesn’t even know basics of ETL & BI terms, In an interview, they will ask you question which are not related with your profile.
I saw the requirement on one of the job portal and applied for the same, After some time I got a call from HR to discuss basic details and schedule an Interview.
1st round -> was a pure technical round related to DWH, SQL. The next day of the interview I got a call that I cleared my 1st round and they will be scheduling a second round of interviews with the manager/architect.
2nd Round -> Architect had no idea about what is ETL and BI is all about and he was asking me some random question related with manual test validation -> I answered all of them. Some generic questions were their related to project management can be easily answered by any experienced candidate. This interview went for 1.5 hours not sure what he was trying to examine.
After few days I tried to follow up on the update/feedback but HR team was not ready to reply to any of my mails/calls , I tried this for a couple of days more but the result was the same. I spent almost 3 hours interviewing them but because of their GHOST HR policy I was not able to get an update on my interview process
Lastly, I came to know about my rejection by one of my connections working at the same workplace.
The moral of the story -> Don’t invest your time/energy by interviewing at this place because the roles and responsibilities they mentioned in JD do not align with their interview process.
The candidature examination is not defined/very poor.
