I had an initial call with the talent acquisition manager, she was very nice and I had a really good feeling about the company based on the vibe. She mentioned that they are proud to always get back to people and that she hopes I will leave a good review as well about the interview.
The second round was a technical interview with a senior FE, and a tech lead. Most of the questions came from the tech lead. Overall, it was a good experience, even though I was expecting more architectural questions at this level, regarding my experience, rather than textbook definitions, so I didn't feel like I did that well. It was 60 minutes, at the end I asked my questions, and after that they said they will be in contact with the results.
They never got back to me. I wrote a follow-up email in the upcoming weeks, but no reply. Considering that they write in the job description that they get back to everyone, and they even mention during the interview that they will, and that they're efficient, it is quite a bad experience to then be ghosted, especially at a senior-level interview, after investing 2 hours. This ruins the whole experience. I'm okay with getting a negative reply, but I'm not okay with no reply.
