Weird experience. 3 interviews before being rejected. Seemingly went well-- conversational, but very general scenario-driven questions. No real sense of what the job responsibilities of the actual role were. Was told to expect a final interview to be arranged with the regional manager and people ops in 3-5 days. Got rejected via email before I woke up the next morning. No feedback.
Interview 1 is screening / recruiter (this took a long time to schedule)
Interview 2 is field manager at 1 location (this one came closest to talking about the role)
Interview 3 was group session with other field managers at diff locations (wasn't as productive)
Interview 4 is with regional manager
Ironically, I picked up during the interview that I was not interviewing for the location originally discussed with the recruiter. I notified them after the interview and tried to pin down a salary range. I was still willing to work there. I wonder if that had any impact on the decision.
