I applied for the People Operations (HR) Generalist position in October 2021, completed multiple rounds of interviews, and was ultimately not selected. The interview process was very purposeful: the team set very clear expectations and evaluation criteria, asked thoughtful questions, and gave candid responses. It felt more like a conversation with friends more than an interview, which was a refreshing experience. Every touch-point from the initial outreach to the disposition were thoughtful and well structured.
The two areas of improvement I would recommend to the team are: (1) Speed - It took several weeks to go through 2 rounds of interviews, and another couple to hear back. Setting the clear expectation was great, but making quicker decisions in a candidates market is crucial. (2) Remove the question on "what were your last 3 Google searches?" I understand the intention but it felt uncomfortable.

3-4 rounds. First round exploratory call. Second round is an hour video interview. Third round is a panel interview with a presentation. Then afterward a virtual “meet the team”. Everyone is friendly.

Three interview rounds, with the final interview round including a presentation and virtual meet the team. Although a more extensive process than I have previously done, it was fair. The People Operations Manager was very kind and informative. Just based on the interview process alone, I would recommend Pelmorex to my peers!
