Was a basic interview, they take questions from a list that is available. Was over the phone since the interviewer's video was not working. Interviewer was an RPCV themselves. You can ask the interviewer about their own PCV experience as a result if needed or relevant to the interview.

I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Peace Corps (Chicago, IL)
Interview
The interview process took quite a long time - from the time I applied to the time I left for Peace Corps it was about 2 years. However, they have changed the process since then & I believe it is much faster now. The recruiter was friendly & it was over all a good experience.
I had one Skype Business interview that took about 30 minutes. The person who interviewed me was not from the country team I was applying to and was reading from a set of questions.

Question 1
What was a difficult situation you've had in the work environment and how did you overcome it?
The interview process took about 8 months: from filling out an application online, to a Skype interview, to medical/legal clearances. The interview was pretty straight forward; it really helps if you have international experience or teaching experience. I prepared some answers in front of me so that I could go off of those.
