I applied for the position on 10/31/20 and received an email inviting me to a phone interview on 11/2/20 which was scheduled for 11/3/20. The phone screen was set to last about 30 minutes but due to how interested my recruiter was in me and my background it ended up lasting an hr, he was really informative and kind. He asked questions tailored to the STAR method and asked that I be as specific as possible with my answer. I could tell by his responses to my answers that I would be going to the next phase which happened to be an assessment. He was so sure I would pass it with flying colors he told me to grab a pen and paper to take notes while he laid out what I should expect to be asked in the final interview. I had 48 hrs to complete the assessment but I finished it immediately after my interview. I was told the next day 11/4/20 that I made it to the final interview. It was scheduled for 11/6/20 via Zoom with 2 women in leadership roles of the position I applied for. They started off with an introduction and a brief description of their time at Paylocity and then dived right into the interview questions. Thanks to my recruiter I was able to really think about the scenarios and give the detailed answers they were looking for. After that they went into what I should expect in the day to day of the role and asked if I had any questions but they literally touched on and answered them all in their breakdown. I was told since it was a Friday I should expect to hear back in about 3-4 days on a decision. I felt good about my interview so I sent an email to my recruiter thanking him for a pleasant interview process . He called me later that day offering me the position, I started today11/30/20.
