I received email notification about interview, then proceeded to scheduled a telephone interview. The interviewer did not call me at scheduled time, I waited 15 minutes and still no shine. I then searched my email history to send email requesting to reschedule, but found interviewer’s phone number instead and called. The interviewer apologized saying other meetings ran long and that he had emailed me to request to reschedule. I had received an email time at same time I was looking at email history, 18 minutes after scheduled interview time. The interviewer had time, so we completed interview. I was informed if selected would move on with interview with team leads, then if selected move to final round. I received an email 4 days after interview informing me I was not selected for next phase.

The recruiter who contacted me was really great, very thorough, and informative. One of the best staff recruiters I’ve interacted with to date. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I would want to work there just based on local reputation. But when they came back and said they wanted to talk to me about another role more suited to what I was interested in, I was impressed. But then I never heard from them again, and they did not respond to my follow up to check in to see if something had changed on their end. It ended very unprofessionally especially for a senior level role.
