I had a discussion about the position with the recruiter and he said that he will be scheduling a phone screen. I got an update from him the next day saying that the hiring manager decided not to go with the phone screen because of my last interview with someone in the team for a similar position. My last interview was for an intern position and that too an year ago. It was really demotivating and sad that they consider a feedback for an intern position as rejecting a candidate for full-time position and that too after an year.

Process was very well managed by the internal recruiter. Technical rounds of average difficulty and then final rounds with Israeli based managers were strangely confrontational - vague questions with no clarification or context. I would apply again to the company but avoid that particular team if possible.
