My interview with the lead engineer went very well. However, after that, I was led on by the HR person who kept promising to call me with feedback and updates, and then flaked. Each time he would apologize over email and reassure me that they were very interested in my candidacy and that he would call me soon. After weeks of follow-up emails and broken promises he finally emailed me that they were moving forward with another candidate.
