      Interview

Whew, where do I even start with this one? That interview was a real doozy, and not in a good way. You know how some experiences make you want to go home and take a long shower? Yeah, this was one of those. The managing director came across like they'd just finished a "How to Be Condescending 101" course and wanted to show off their new skills. I mean, I've had my share of tough interviews, but this one took the cake, frosting and all. It felt like stepping into a time machine and landing smack in the middle of some outdated corporate nightmare. The questions were so obsolete, I half expected them to ask about my experience with typewriters or fax machines. The whole thing was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. A complete waste of time that I'll never get back. I could've been at home binge-watching my favorite show or, heck, even alphabetizing my spice rack - both would've been more productive. And don't get me started on the managing director's attitude. They acted like they were doing me a huge favor just by being in the same room. News flash: mutual respect is still a thing in 2024! I guess if there's a silver lining, it's that I now have a perfect example of how not to conduct an interview. So... thanks for that, I guess? Honestly, I'm just glad it's over. Here's hoping my next interview is with someone who's actually living in this century!
