The interview was Very quick and easy. They asked Typical questions for hospitality businesses. The employer who interviewed me was very kind and inviting and did not make the process intimidating at all.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Anaheim, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Applied at a new cafe, so they were taking a lot of new hires. After about 10 minutes of dialogue I was hired on the spot. A good idea to get ahead of other applicants is to already have your food handlers license.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Run of the mill questions. Where do you see yourself? Why do you want to work for Panera? Previous employers. Etc.
Asked questions regarding food safety and why I wanted the job , also discussed how my schedule would look if I were to get the job. I was then told I would be given a call regarding the decision whether I got the job or not
Great process very easy and they really try and fast track the hiring process. It is usually with a couple of the managers who will be overseeing your day to day.
