I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Nashville, TN) in Sept 2014
Interview
Invited into store, discussed duties of the job, what the gm looked for in his employees, talked about availability. This particular GM asked about personal life as well (i.e. what do you do outside of work, what are your favorite hobbies, do you have any brothers and sisters, etc). His genuine interest in each employee is what made my decision to choose to work for his store as opposed to a different one.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Orlando, FL)
Interview
The interview was sitting down with the general manager. The job offered on the spot. Cafe associates were largely high school students. Interview reflected ability to show up on time and be trainable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Melbourne, FL) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewer (who was the manager at the time) was a nice person, charming in the way he spoke, understanding, a good listener, and good speaker. I didn't get the job, but he was still very charitable when interviewing me.
I applied online and was reached out for an interview a couple days later. We briefly went over my resume and talked about availability and interest. The meeting with the general manager was only about 15 minutes - 30 minutes long.
