The process consists of 3 rounds:
1) HR
2) Technical
3) Team Fit
1) HR interview was super nice, a lot of question regarding your past experience, how you handle new tasks, how you learn new skills. I had a feeling of them just getting to know me as a person nothing really technical. But the recruiter was a really nice human being, so I enjoyed talking to her a lot.
2) The technical interviewees were super nice also. A lot of questions regarding personality while having few technical questions. For technical part they were looking for specific definitions of terms (make sure to learn your programming vocabulary). There were many open ended questions where they wanted to hear something specific (Not really how you think, but rather what you think). To be frank, I am not sure how they assess
the skills of a Data Engineer with these questions. But overall both members of the team were super nice people.
One negative thing about the interview was that they wanted me to talk in their terminology ( For example: I used word database referring to Transactional Database - they were looking for the word DataWarehouse, while DataWarehouse is used for OLAP systems).
3) Did not get there, but I am sure someone nice would talk to me at this stage.
For the job itself, my impression was that it is a very "white glove" and "blue collar" position, so it is dealing with a lot of client communications, in one word “Consulting”.
I hope this helps, good luck friend!
