I applied online. I interviewed at PandaDoc in Apr 2026
Interview
Only had a screening interview. Asked for more detailed questions than expected during this phase, and shared a lot about the role and expectations. I was happy with the level of transparency. Even though I didn’t move forward, it was a good experience and they let me know pretty quickly.
The interview process consisted of 5-6 rounds and was well-structured yet agile. It covered technical engineering management competencies, stakeholder alignment, and cultural fit. Each interviewer was clearly briefed, and the overall experience felt coherent and respectful of my time. Engineering culture is clearly a priority — being empathetic, impact-driven, and user-focused was valued throughout.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions focused on past experiences and how I handled conflict resolution, team dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration. There were also questions about how I incorporate AI tools into my day-to-day work as an engineering manager, and how I drive impact for users and the business.
I was mainly asked about my previous experience, the projects that I found the most interesting and challenging and the technologies I've used. Both recruiter and hiring manager were friendly and polite.
