I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Panamax Infotech (Ahmedabad)
Interview
The interview focused on core Java fundamentals, particularly threading (synchronization, deadlocks, thread pools) and processes, along with system architecture principles like microservices and design patterns. It included hands-on SQL questions on indexing, joins, and transactions, as well as in-depth Kafka topics such as consumer lag mitigation and exactly-once semantics—tying directly to my research project and production experience. The process concluded with a coding problem testing concurrency or Kafka implementation skills, emphasizing practical application over theory.
