I applied online. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks
Interview
Asked about my background and offered to submit resume to the hiring manager. Recruiter wasn't timely in responses. I matched the requirements and exceeded the standard. Multiple certifications, degrees, and years of experience in multiple cross-sections and being a jack-of-many-trades in devops, cybersecurity, malware analysis, threat intelligence. Rejected and told need more hands-on technical skills.

Question 1
Why did you apply to Palo Alto? Tell me about your background.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (Minneapolis, MN) in Dec 2024
Interview
Only met recruiter. They discussed a lot of what the role would be and how Palo operates with SEs and AEs. This particular role was based on SIEM technology. Great opportunity for you to ask questions about anything. Recruiter had a lot of knowledge on the role, even technical terms and day to day things.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
I had in total 8 interviews with various memebers of the Unit 42 Team.
In all interviews I was told I was an excellent candidate and had the right level of skills and experience.
However, after the final interview they rejected me saying "I wasn't right for the role" I asked for more feedback and even contacted the hiring manager. I got no response! I wasted almost 10 hours on this role and didn't even get any feedback how I could improve!
