I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (London, England) in Mar 2017
Interview
Palantir requires many steps to proceed. It was a standard screening, then on site, then the whole set of Skype interviews after it.
They always mixed up timezones, at least twice they mixed BST/GMT, one interview had to be rescheduled because of this. When you spend a lot of time for their interviewing process, you not only have no feedback at all but also their HR disappears and you're in a situation when they scheduled something else with you, but they just dropped all the communication.
Another person I know spent 2 full days on their on sites + all the screenings and the behaviour was absolutely the same at the end. The next time we just won't spend our time to this company.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Sydney) in Sept 2024
Interview
Screening call went well. However, the technical interview went horribly wrong due to a 1-on-1 session with an 'Engineer' who was not very fluent in English. He misunderstood me, and as a result, I was rejected.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies
Interview
The HR contacted me with a somewhat casual tone, expressing the intention to call me. During the interview, they inquired about my interest in the company and encouraged me to ask questions. I could sense their impatience to move forward during the interview. Surprisingly, there was no discussion about my background. A few days later, the company informed me that I was not a suitable fit for the position. While I know the competitive job market these days, the experience left me feeling undervalued, as if job seekers are treated as beggars.
very difficult interview with multiple rounds. Second round of interview is a 3 part interview with combination of AWS concepts, Puppet, scripting and systems administration. Interview was done virtually. SREs are identified more as sys-admin in the company
