Process started with a Skype interview (2 separate each with a director), that was then followed by a personality test, an unexpected informal office meet and greet with two directors and one partner, twice interviewing at the outsourced accounting firm, and finally reference checks including insisting on speaking with my current employer and two previous employers (so much for my confidential search). Communication throughout the process was good in terms of volume but was misleading/unprofessional at times and overall the process took too long for them to make a decision - 7+ weeks from start to them notifying me they were going to put the hire on hold and reassess since it was a newly created position. I almost lost interest and started new applications elsewhere. Office is gorgeous and the people I interviewed with were very nice - it will be a dream opportunity for some if you can get in the door but I have definitely had better interview experiences (my advice would be to hire an talent acquisition person and have them lead the hiring process instead of a department manager who rarely has to hire).
