The CEO, Jules, called over the weekend for a impromptu 30 minute interview, followed by a two hour interview a couple days later with his wife. The couple seem to be very nice during the interview process but try to rip you off in the employment contract. Be sure to read it carefully and refrain from signing it. There were two people who were hired for this position before I was, and they both left within three days. This was clearly a red flag, since Jules said one of them had 15 years of industry-related experience. This position is clearly not for management, yet they try to get you to sign away your right to overtime pay which is illegal according to the Employment Standards Act. When negotiating, they talk down to you, even though they are looking for an employee who can negotiate on their behalf.
