      Claims Representative Interview

      17 Apr 2023
      Anonymous employee
      White Plains, NY
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PURE Insurance (White Plains, NY)

      Interview

You will go through several rounds. It might even feel excessive especially if you are not interviewing for managerial roles. The whole interviewing process took about a month. I had a phone screen with a hiring manager in the second round. The third round was a different manager in the department and then the VP of the department. The fourth round was a peer interview to determine culture fit.

      Interview

The process as a whole so far, has been welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and the conversation was sincere. If that was an indicator of how their management is, then I truly hope to hear from them soon.

      Claims Representative Interview

      22 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chesapeake, VA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at PURE Insurance (Chesapeake, VA) in Jul 2021

      Interview

I interviewed with five different individuals across a six week period. Overall, I would categorize it as a positive experience. The interviews were casual and conversation-like, yet their visions and expectations for a prospective employee were clear. The HR Representative was very communicative throughout the process. I was informed that they decided to go with someone else, but she did express her gratitude for my time and effort. With that being said, I think five separate interviews and a month & a half on the edge of your seat is a lot to ask of any candidate. I do feel like interview requests #3-5 further encouraged my false hope, but that’s just a me problem. I will also say, for someone like me who is employed full-time in a very rigid & structured work environment, it was taxing to take UPTO or a hit to my metrics in order to accommodate the many interviews during mutual business hours.

      Question 1

Explain a time you delivered exceptional customer service. If money wasn’t a factor, what would be your dream job?
