There are around four stages in the selection process, including online assessments, personality tests, and two rounds of on-site interviews. A pre-employment health check typically follows shortly after the final interview. HR is very supportive and responsive throughout the process, serving as an excellent point of contact. The roles are highly competitive.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PTTEP in Jun 2025
Interview
In the first round, I met with the HR representative, who asked general questions about my education, work experience, and motivation for applying. The conversation was easygoing, and the questions were mostly about my career journey, strengths, and what I was looking for in my next role.
The second round was with the hiring manager. This round was more detailed but still comfortable. The discussion centered on my previous projects, the tools I had used, and how I approached problem-solving in real situations. Instead of technical tests or case studies, the manager was more interested in my thought process, communication style, and how I collaborated with teams.
Overall, the process was simple and friendly. It gave me the opportunity to share my experience openly and to understand more about the company’s expectations. With only two rounds, the flow was efficient and allowed both sides to evaluate fit without being overly complex.
