I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Ellicott City, MD) in Jul 2018
Interview
This company reached out to me since I’m a Military Veteran first thing they had me do is attend a Military information session with some of the higher ups who basically told all of the attendees “you guys are what we need” “you guys have the discipline” etc the list goes on and on. So after I attended the session I attended an interview at a local branch and the branch manager told me the interview went well. After I had followed up with the hiring manager I get told that it didn’t go well, or what I needed to improve so that I have a shot. So I kept following up and interview at another branch same thing, branch manager tells me that it goes well and I get told the same thing by the hiring manager that it didn’t go well. Afterwards I get told that they will not be moving forward and that they found a “stronger” candidate if you guys needed veterans then why give me the run around. Veterans beware and steer clear of this company they say they need us but in reality they don’t.
